Rollins left Tuesday's 5-2 win over the New York Mets with a sprained left ankle. The reigning National League MVP was injured sliding back into second base to avoid being picked off in the top of the eighth inning, and was replaced by Eric Bruntlett. Rollins finished the game 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI.
Bruntlett played shortstop for the Phillies on Wednesday, while center fielder Shane Victorino, usually the No. 2 hitter, moved up to the leadoff spot.
